I held an international license and was planning to get it converted to a NSW license, I was working with a very tight timeline as well where my driving test was booked 5 days after I pass my Driver Knowledge Test and got my L’s. I found LStar Driving School on Google and called to try and secure a few hours of driving lesson and mock test, as well as renting a car for the test. They were able to accomodate my request, but at a slightly higher fee, which I’m more than happy to pay. My instructors name is Colin, and he was cool and calm during the lesson, which definitely helped since it’s a very stressful scenario, especially when you’re trying to remember all of the head checks you need to perform. Overall a good experience, and would recommend them for anyone looking to get a their driving license.read more

I am really lucky to find LStar driving school. My instructor Collin is really helpful and he has tailored teaching strategies for different students. He is very calm and patient. He gave me some really good tips and help me build up my confidence for driving. Also, the practice car is pretty good with automatic hand break and engine start button, which makes life easier. After practice 10 hours with Collin I have passed my driving test in Sillverwater centre where I failed 5 times previously. I strongly recommend Lstar Driving school to people who want to pass their driving test in one go ! Good value and very professional :)read more

My instructor is Colin. From someone without prior driving experience, I passed the driving test in one go on a rainy day even. I was taught safe and practical driving. He helped me make the best and safe decisions in the road which was extremely handy during my exam. Colin emphasized on safe and defensive driving. He wasn't just teaching me for the sake of passing the exam but to equip me with the appropriate skills to keep me and others safe on the road. LStar is truly a great choice. Before here I took a 20hr lesson from prestige driving school with a driver instructor named Milan, I still couldn’t do three point turns and parallel parking properly after 20hrs of driving with him and I knew I would not pass the test. But after a few hours of practice with Peter in LStar helped my technique tremendously and I passed the test really easily. Peter is very patient and experienced, he knows what need to be aware during the test and helped me develop great driving habit.read more

If you are thinking to have a driving test, pick up your phone and ring Instructor Wayne, he will help you pass the driving test like how he helped me and countless others. I was an uncoordinated, inconfident and clumsy driver, and made the same mistakes over and over again. Instructor Wu is very patient and professional, he not only corrected the technical errors but also helped me overcome my mental fear of driving. I am extremely thankful for him to rearrange his tight schedule to fit me in for a lesson before my driving test (short notice for less than 12 hours ) and more so, very grateful for him to schedule the lessons before my work hours from 7am to 8:30am for a working mum like myself. If I don't have to put my kid to sleep now, I really will write a 1000-word review to express my appreciation. So I have to omit the 500 "thank you"s here to Wayne.
